Budget busting or just Elope

Mrs.evans, on May 31, 2021 at 6:37 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
Hi lady I am stressing now about should we continue on planning for our wedding for next year or just go and Elope? Here's why we have found a venue that has both things that we want outside ceremony and reception inside. But now here with all of the other stuff comes in paying on the space and half price for DJ, Photographers, caterer, bar, dinnerware, cake, decor which some things I have that was 1 running low on so I got it now. But not trying go to fancy or over the top romantic and elegant 2. my wedding dress is done have it accessories. 3. So we are thinking about renting the other elements that we want. Like for our sweetheart table 4.our wedding bands has to be purchased also and officiant which I will find too. And now my fiance is getting a little stress as well certain things we are doing ourselves to save cost like making the bouquets and boutaires for the men. I hear him to don't want to be broke and he wants to do it for me but I want him to be happy too. So ladies should we continue planning or Elope help please

Only you can decide that. Some people don’t want to celebrate with anyone and others can’t imagine celebrating alone. How much will you lose if you scrap all the plans and elope?

Well so far it's about 2,too so far now we want ppl to celebrate with us but the numbers are getting to be alot. And a intimate ceremony and reception is also nice and that's really all but so many want to celebrate with us because they have been waiting for this day as well just dont want to broke. And cant have a honeymoon right now that's ok but do want to go away for a day or 2

You decide the guest list based on what you can afford and who you can’t imagine the day without. Everyone else can celebrate with you at another time (dinner, bbq, etc in your home or at the local park)

I was thinking about that too Michelle and some bitter sweet I just lost my grandmother in April and just gave her her home going this month. So she wont be there but I will talk to him again and just do a small wedding and reception. And be good with that. Michelle thank you so so much for this advice hugs😉❤🤗🤗

I would go with what you want. The goal is to only do it once, so it should be the thing that you want to enjoy most. I would also price the cost of eloping. Depending on where you go, you may not save much money at all.
