I will also state that June is the most popular month to get married in and prices will go up during peak season.

I'll add that I was just in Chattanooga at the end of June/beginning of July and it was so very hot! Keep that in mind for outdoor venues.

I agree with the pp that botanical gardens, parks are very cheap/free but please be mindful that is is hot in June. Your guest might not appreciate a long ceremony in the heat.

Actually, in TN their prime season for weddings is September- November, primarily october. Cabin rentals and wedding packages. Because its right in the prime of season change a lot of people are looking for the colors and the cooler weather. Our cabin doubled in price for the extent of our stay just because of peak season. but ALL my vendors I had to book over a year in advance because they were booking into 2020 already because October was their prime wedding season.

I highly recommend looking into some parks or even some cabin rental places have beautiful pavilions risen up so you have outdoor views and what not. Not in Chattanooga but in Gatlinburg for example, if we wanted to have our wedding at the cabins we were staying in it was actually free with the rental of a cabin and had an outdoor deck and pavilion where we could have gotten married. I would look into options such as this!

I second state parks! We're having ours at a state park in Virginia for ceremony & reception would be $2100 (includes tables, chairs, rehearsal dinner, kitchen, etc.)

For just the outdoor ceremony I think it's only $400-$600!!

I'm not sure how far you're willing to go outside of Chattanooga, but we found the cutest little country club in Lenoir City that is super cheap!! It's called Avalon Country Club and they offer 3 different spaces - outdoor, patio, and ballroom - to host either your ceremony, reception, or both!

Hey Courtney, where do you live? I ask because June is one of the least popular months to get married here in NC. It is so hot, humid, and miserable lol, so most places around here are cheaper. Our most popular month is October (my wedding month ) because we have such a beautiful fall. Especially in the mountains.
