Budget Friendly

I am attempting to have a wedding for $10,000, this price needs to include EVERYTHING. I have looked all over Florida and am having the hardest time! Any suggestions?

Cut your guest list since this number will be the biggest driver of your budget. Look for restaurants that have private meeting rooms. Look for all-inclusive venues. Consider having a brunch wedding or a wedding at a non-meal time and do a cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres or a cake and punch reception.

Try to find an all inclusive venue. I would also say to really look at prices. I laid everything out and was really surprised to find that we were just over 10k for the wedding. (Honeymoon not included) We do however have a friend that is a photographer and doing our photos. That is one expense we did not have to add. When we wanted to spend 10k on everything honeymoon included we were going to just do a 3 hour wedding and reception with just cake.

How many guests are you inviting? I’m not familiar with your area but the best way to save money aside from cutting down the guest list is finding a place that lets you bring in your own catering and alcohol. Italian/bbq/Mexican is the cheapest for catering and limiting alcohol to just beer and wine will also help.

I have been stalking Facebook Marketplace for wedding items. I scored mismatched china, table clothes, chair sashes, and birdhouse centerpieces for next to nothing! Tonight, I'm going to ask my matron of honor if I can use her veil for my something borrowed. She offered her large barn for the venue! Do you have family or friends that have a potential venue? I have an appointment with David's Bridal because they have a large selection of $99 wedding dresses! I asked my neighbor if she would be my wedding director the day of only. I'm planning everything myself. She was honored. Her husband is going to marry us! She also offered to let me use two large birdcages since my theme is bird related. Borrow decor items if you can! I'm using a glass slab on top of a bird bath for my cupcake table. I will have a small wedding cake and grooms cake. My guest list is under 50. We are using our stereo system. My fiance is building the arbor when I figure out what I want. Do you or someone you know have a green thumb? Grow all or part of your own flowers. We are going to serve roast, carrots, potatoes, and rolls or BBQ and sides, all something that can be made ahead by us and family. I'm still planning but excited because we are way under budget.

We are getting married at Southern Streams Ranch (barn wedding) in Thonotosassa, FL (near Tampa). It's an all inclusive venue. They have different packages for different amount of people. For example, my wedding is contracted for 130 guests and we are paying 13,500. I know that is over 10k, but it really is a great price. This includes everything except alcohol. Food, decor, flowers, photographer, DJ, cake, etc.

    Check them out on FB!

I'm getting married at Lakeside Ranch in Inverness, FL. For 150 people the venue rental is $3500.00. They include some decorations and tables and chairs. The venue is absolutely beautiful! I visited 3 other venues that included the same stuff for around $8000.00 and were not nearly as beautiful! They also have a covered outdoor option that isn't an ugly white tent if it rains, and a new beautiful white barn for the reception. Definitely worth checking out for the price and you can DIY some other parts of the wedding. Goodluck!

I'm getting married at Celebration Gardens in Winter Park, FL. They have really good all inclusive packages if you're having a small or medium sized wedding, but I opted to bring in my own vendors. It was 1000 to rent the venue for 5 hours on Sunday evening. I also did my linen and table rentals through them for a bit more. It is an outdoor venue, and isn't for huge weddings, but for an 50-person one like mine, its perfect!

Have you checked out Town Manor on the Lake in Auburndale? I know they have all inclusive packages. If your guest list isn't too long, they have some great options.

All depends about where in Florida and the guest count 🤷🏼‍♀️ The Fl keys have a lot of venues that do the work for you. Also in Miami we have a few all inclusive locations. Highland manor around the Orlando area was an affordable venue.
Also consider different days of the week , off seasons, and earlier times (like a brunch wedding) all those can affect the price.

My biggest thing about sticking in budget is taking out things that dont matter to me. Like save the dates, while they are cute. They would have cost us, with postage, over $300. So I called the guest list and let them know the date. Cutting out favors is also a huge thing. So I say, dont fall into the trap of needing to do "everything." Cut down stuff.

Our venue is at The Grand Manor in melbourne, Florida. They do catering, they have different package for the food the one we are doing is $43 per person and it's buffet style, this also include 4 hours of unlimited beer, wine and soda. They provide the chairs (which you can upgrade to the chiavari chairs at cost if you want that kind of chairs) , tables, linens, plates, utensils. They also do the set up and break down for you. So, really the only thing you'll need to do is take your centerpieces away if you want to keep it. The ceremony is also in the property and it is outside! it is so beautiful! They also have a bridal suite to get ready and they also have a groom suite!

My venue is Royal Fiesta in Deerfield Beach. I have a buffet with 4 hours open bar, cocktail hour, centerpieces, cake, tables, chairs, linens for $75.95 per person. I believe if you have it on Friday or Sunday you can get it for $70.95
