Hey there and congrats!! We are getting our engagement photos taken in a few weeks right outside Hotel Henry which isn't too far from the Lafayette (I think lol); the hotel itself is gorgeous from the outside and there are plenty of trees around (it almost looks like a little park). I'm sure the trees will be BEAUTIFUL around the fall when your wedding will be! Hope this helps!

View Quoted Comment I had a terrible experience at bridal chateau and would not recommend. I got my dress at Bridal by D. It’s a small store on main st near transit and it was amazing! The owner helped me find my dress and she was so knowledgeable. Her dresses were unlike any I had seen and she carries designers exclusively that no one else in the area does. Highly recommend!

I also went to M.A Carr and was almost brought to tears. They were not friendly at all and I was left by myself most of my appt. Most of their dresses are skin tight or have the invisible neckline look. I just wish they actually listened to the details that I wanted in my dress.
Bridal Chateau had a nice price range. They had anywhere from $800 to $3000 I believe. My dress was $1300 and couldnt be happier.

Does anyone from buffalo have recommendations on hair and make-up? I have a huge wedding party so I am trying to go to an actual salon so we can all be together and get everything done at once. Any in the Northtowns would be preferred. I looked into Kalu and Revive salon. If anyone has any experience with them, I would appreciate it!

I'm getting married on 9/1/19 at Obriens Sleepy Hollow. It's the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Any other Sunday brides out there? I've found it a bit more difficult to get some vendors (for example, Maureen's flowers doesn't deliver on Sundays). Just curious if anyone has recommendations. Only have venue/church and photographer at this point.

Hi Everyone,

My wedding is set for 9-28-19 @ Hyatt Place Niagara Falls.

Photographer is Adore ...so far they have been wonderful with communication and making me feel comfortable. I also told the florist this was my photographer and they spoke very highly of them.

Bakery is Chrusciki... the desserts tasted amazing at the tasting. They also offered a discount when I met them at a wedding show. They are cost effective and I've ordered several desserts from there for work and everyone loves them

Videographer is Beautiful Life Studios....they are located in Toronto but omg their videos are amazing and they only charged $250 for the travel fee.

I highly recommend going to the bridal shows!

The absolute best place for cakes is Dessert Deli ! My family gets cakes for every occasion there and that’s where I plan on getting mine from !

Hi! 06/08/19 at templeton landing!For those of you looking for cake, i tried 4 bakeries (of different sizes) in the buffalo area and went with Muscoreil's. Not only were they the best tasting, they didnt try to upsell (actually they assured us that we could go with a smaller cake than what we initially wanted), and they were cheaper than some other vendors like fairy cakes (who wanted close to 600 dollars for cupcakes and a small cutting cake).
