Bug in guest/rsvp system? Names supposedly have to be more than 2 characters

Anyone else running into the issue with WeddingWire not allowing you to add guest with only 2 letters in their name to the guest list portal, or not allowing guest with only 2 characters in their names to submit their info? I found the workaround of just adding a space or clicking save a bunch of times and ignoring the warning, but I find it odd that there's a requirement for the length of someone's name in this day and age.
