Burgundy Color Palettes: In or Out?

It's a classic rich color. However, I chose lighter colors for my day.

I love burgundy and all shades of red (hence why my engagement ring includes a ruby!). we are doing navy and gold in addition to burgundy and we are getting married in january. i love the mood it sets and i don't think it'll ever go out of style!! now the whole rustic mason jar vibe, that's something that can be over and done with because thats been used WAY too much!

IN but we arent using it - almost did but it clashes with our family tartans which we very much want to use. Mine is purple, green and blue (both navy and a light blue) and my fiancee's is purple, gold, and navy. So we are focusing on the purple and blues with hints of green and gold (greenery and evergreens and gold trees and metal accents).

I think it is an amazing color with rosegold!!!

I would add a little blush or light pink to the flowers to add interest and blend in more with the burgundy color.
