Bustle looks weird

I don't know if I'm just not use to seeing a bustle but I hate how it looks. Is this how it's supposed to be? I guess I'm so in love with my train that I'm sad to see it disappear and don't really want to bustle it. But I understands it's not practical when dancing. Any way I can not have it bustled during the bride and groom dance and the father daughter dance? Also a little worried I have some back fat and didn't have that when I first tried the dress on. I've lost weight but she made it tighter than when I first tried it on so that the dress will hold me in. Just wondering if my concerns are practical or am I overthinking it.

I actually love bustles on dresses but yours is not placed right, especially on the sides. It should fold neatly into the skirt and blend in so it is not obvious. Here, you can clearly see someone just picked it up and pinned it to the dress without considering how it should lay with the skirt.

Bring pictures of bustles that you like when you go to the seamstress, show her the ones posted here.

I completely agree. Your bustle looks a little messy and uneven. I would talk to your seamstress and see if they can redo the bustle.

This bustle looks funky, off to the side and not centered. I am in love with the bustle in picture two of Whit's post, that is pretty.
I agree with you, I would say it looks sloppy and off to the side.

I seen someone do their dances with it unbustled and she kept having to kick it around because they were both tripping on it
About your bustle.
It seems odd. Like it doesn't look right. Maybe u can try a different one ?

Hmmmm, i think maybe if they tried another style? Mine looked ok, but still got stepped on alot!! Lol
