But what if i don't want my Fall wedding to have pumpkins, hay bales, or the color orange?!

Ugh! Why does everyone insist that an October wedding has to be decorated with Halloween or decked out in orange, red, and yellow? I just want a blue wedding. Any places to find Fall wedding inspiration that ISN'T necessarily Fall related?

I happen to have a house full of reds, golds, browns and greens. So my colors for the wedding are deep red, and gold which also happen to fit nicely with Christmas but I was still pushing for those colors when we were considering a summer wedding. I decided to use the Christmas theme a bit through the gifts (live evergreen trees for our parents and ornaments for the rest) as well as my velvet shawl and jingle bells as kissing bells instead of clicking on glasses. The church and reception site will be fully decked out in Christmas decorations (money saved!) so I figured, why fight it. But trust me there will be no Santa Claus, reindeer, sleigh or candy cane in sight (still debating a little mistletoe though).

Thank you gals for your support!

Devin2b, a phobia of the ocean, really?

and Mrs.Shmidt, my grandmother is the same way. She has already started planning my wedding before I even had colors picked. UGH.

Thank you again, ladies. It's nice to have backup. Smiley smile
