Ok so my weeding is very laid back, outdoors, Lots of kids, yard games and bbq foods. I am thinking about using the butcher paper for my table covers, even leaving crayons at the table for purple to use on the paper. What do people think? Had any one used this before? Also my budget is already at it's max for what we can afford.

I think that it sounds like a cute idea, like those coffee shops that let you doodle on their paper covered tables Smiley smile If it fits your theme, I say go for it! Smiley smile

I went to a boy scout banquet where this was done and the kids managed to behave themselves for most part. If it fits your theme, go for it.

I thought about doing this but as planning evolved, the linen look seemed more appropriate for our celebration. I like the idea though! Definitely a way to keep people occupied. I had thought about having a tipped over cup on each table with several crayons with a little drawing that said something like "doodle on me!"

We are getting married at a state park lodge. And I'm using brown rolls of paper with a runner ..and using chalkboard table and makers for people to draw if they want. GO FOR IT!

I wish I had thought of that Smiley sad Love the idea

I bought thick paper tablecloths, but they look like linen because I thought plastic wouldn't look okay.

But I have the kind of friends who, after a few drinks, would probably draw things I wouldn't want to see...lol... so maybe I did the right thing Smiley smile
