Buying Napkins and Linens?

Hi there! I've found that purchasing napkins and tablecloths from some sites online will be cheaper from renting them from a vendor, and gives me a little more flexibility in terms of color. Has anyone tried this before or does anyone have suggested retailers to use (particularly ones that will send a sample swatch)? Thanks!

Don't forget to also add in the cost of the ironing and cleaning before and after. Some fabrics are dry clean only, and I was quoted over $300 for 16 table cloths. Luckily the ones i purchased were washing machine safe.

I got cocktail napkins ( paper) that had an H on it from Party City for cheap but I also got my invites there too. and it may seem cheaper now but after you add all the little things buying your linens will cost more. I'd ask your cater if they have any, or can suggest a company who has cheaper deals.
Mine were part of my food cost, for one venue and the other were like 10.00 a table cloth.

Yes--the ironing part is the bitch. I bought mine from linentablecloth.com --they also rent.
