Buying sequin tablecloths??

Rachel, on February 21, 2016 at 5:08 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 20

I want to have sequin tablecloths for the wedding party table/head table to add a little glitz but I am learning how expensive these tablecloths are! Any suggestions on where to buy? Or does anyone have any experience or luck with selling tablecloths after the wedding and making your money back? Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome!!

I've been looking, too. See if you can find them on etsy, eBay or wedding resale sites! My area has a wedding resale Facebook page.

I am getting mine from tableclothsfactory.com. They run 10% off specials all the time and free shipping on orders over $150. I am doing sequin table runners instead of the full sequin table cloths to help cut cost.

Do you have an event rental place close to you? We rented our tablecloths, runners, plates, glasses, silverware, and even high chairs from an event rental place for a reasonable price.

There is not a rental place that has sequin tablecloths near by unfortunately. I will check out through recommended websites! Thanks!

I originally wanted sequin tablecloths too but oh my are they expensive!! we are having 20 tables and I just can't afford to outfit them all with sequins. We are probably going to do a sequin tablecloth for the sweetheart table and runners for the guest tables. There are sometimes options on wedding-recycle.com, a website where people can sell their wedding decor. It might depend on how many tables you have- A lot of the decor stuff comes in sets of 10 or fewer

ETA-oops, just saw that you asked specifically about a tablecloth for the head table. Definitely check out wedding-recycle if you only need one!

I'm doing copper sequin runners and they are a less common color. The best I've found is actually on PaperLanternStore.com. they also have 10%+ off codes often.

I ordered sequin table runners off amazon.com. The sequin table cloths are just too much for me.

I saw several on Ruffledblog.com I've never priced them so I'm not sure if they were a good deal or still available. Ruffledblog.com has a whole, VERY active resale of wedding stuff by brides. The section of the website is "recycle my wedding" top, far right of navigation tabs.

I found tablecloths to be so absurdly expensive that it actually ended up being more cost effective to just rent farm tables ($50 per) in lieu of the provided round tables, and make our own runners from fabric at jo-anns (purchased with 40% coupon). The exposed wood really adds a lot of visual interest, and you dont need so much glitz and a ton of fancy centerpieces. Depending on what kind of look you're going for, its worth a thought.

I used tableclothfactory.com as well and went with the table runners to add some glam but cut on costs! I also got two sequin chair covers for the bride and groom's chairs and they look awesome!

Maybe you could just use a cheaper sequin table runner to give the same effect? Or rent! I was lucky, my venues supplies any and all linens I could want including sequined ones

I did the same as FuturemrsP

Sequin table cloths for our sweet heart table, cake table and catering tables and then sequin table cloth runners on our guest tables.

If you want to buy and resell, don't plan on making all your money back. Things in resale groups tend to go for about half of their original cost.

Have you been to a party rental house? A lot of the time they have great stuff and you can just rent for the wedding reception.

    Just a thought...

My fiancé and I are renting tablecloths and we wanted sequins and ivy rosettes. Instead of opting for full sequin tablecloths, we are doing sequin table runners on half of the tables and ivy rosette runners on the other half. Only the cake table, welcome table and sweetheart table will have a full sequin/rosette tablecloth.
