I'm trying to figure out the timing of events at the reception. I've seen all the timelines that have been posted here before but still have questions...
1. I have my DJ until 1am. I asked what time they'd suggest doing the cake cutting and they said 9:50pm and then right after the late night snacks would be brought out. Is 9:50 pm too late to cut the cake?
2. Does the bouquet toss usually happen before or after the cake is cut?
Useful info: FH and I will be staying until the end if the reception.
The venue does not need to cut the cake for us because we're having cupcakes.
I think my issue is that my reception seems to be going a lot later than other receptions and I think that might be throwing the timing off for me.
