Cake decisions oh Boy!!

Mrs.evans, on April 17, 2022 at 2:22 PM Posted in Planning 15 6
Now I have been looking at 2 potential bakery to do our wedding cake. So choose between the prices of both is different plus delivery fee and the day of delivery that they will deliver it. Then the flavor I like fillings but some ppl may not ☹so I'm going to comprise by bottom being villina and top lemon or pineapple my mom are allergic to berries all berries. So that knocks out that 🤣🤣 completely then the height decor then the count of ppl matters also. But I we were lost when talking about pounds we are like huh??🤔☺️☺️. Anyone else felt this and did you decide on what I know this has to be done soon

Yes! My wedding is July 1st, 2022 and I have yet to find someone to make my cake 😢😩🤦🏽‍♀️🥹
I have a several cake tastings and tbh it’s not giving, especially for the price. I don’t know if it’s it because I’m not much of a sweets person🤔

Anyways, good luck! You are not alone!!

Yes and because we mentioned that word WEDDING and they dollar $bell goes off. I have had 1 tasting and in a few months then we have other date to get the right one. I think for a wedding cake they should putting out the best flavors and work with us in prices. I'm not trying to break the bank I am standing firm on a price and that's it. Want great work. Well they should bring it all the time no matter what

Someone in another discussion mentioned having sheet cakes of different flavors so everyone could pick. You could try something like that and have a small cake for cutting with your partner. I imagine it would be a lot cheaper.

A lot of grocery stores actually do wedding cakes. That may be a more cost-effective option. You could either do a whole cake or a smaller one for just you and your partner and then a few sheet cakes to serve your guests.
