Cake smash in face - yes or no?

He was nice and didn't smash it all over my face and wreck my makeup!

I'm not, and I am so worried my FH will do something like that, I almost want to have him sign something saying he swears he won't do it or he has to idk buy me a car or something!!

This is really a choice based on your & FH's personalities. What does your FH think about doing it? Would you surprise him or let him know in advance that you plan to do it? Would you want FH to do it to you?

We are not doing a cake smash. Neither of us think it is fun or funny, and we don't want to get messy or ruin clothes/hair/makeup.

He said he won't unless I say he can. I like the idea of just sweetly feeding eachother. That is more what I'm leaning towards. No mess, and more romantic

No we will not. We are doing pictures after reception just him and me and if there is cake on me he knows I'll be angry

We are not doing it. I freak out having stuff on my face and I don't want to go retouch my make up. FH is not a big fan of it either, so the choice was easy.

We talked and agreed on more of a "cake boop" lol. I'd freak out if I got buttercream frosting on my dress!

Absolutely not. I'm all about jokes and fun but I am not a fan of having cake/icing smashed in my face.

No, I want my makeup until the end of the reception. It's fair game when we get back to the hotel.

We never planned on doing it. But, one way we show each other we love each other is doing Eskimo kiss's. I told him it would be a cute photo op. to dab frosting on each others noses, and rub them together afterward. He said he liked it. I almost did it to my poor hubby the day of our wedding, but quickly decided not to. I paid to much money on the makeup to have it get ruined (be it even just a nose) and walk around the rest of the night with smeared makeup on my face. So, no we never did a cake smash with each other.

It's a big no for us. We don't even feed each other at home, I don't want to do it in public. But it all depends on your personalities.

I hate smushing the cake...I know a lot of people think it's funny and cute but I dont. The whole point of the cake feeding is that "you trust that person enough that you would eat out of their hand." Smushing it ruins the whole point. I've already told my FH that if he does it then I will leave for the honeymoon without him.

Never! I told him it would be grounds for divorce.

Definitely not for us. We both hated the idea.
