My man enjoys feeding me, not trying to choke me. Plus the mess, and wasted food, as well as it feeling disrespectful. All round nay.

Definitely not, we’re grown adults. There’s no need for that

I haven't been to a wedding in which they smash the cake and most brides I've talked to say they hate the idea of messing up the makeup they just spent all that money on. We are actually thinking of not even doing the cutting ceremony as neither of us want to really stop and cut the cake and then go back to the dance floor. I feel it throws the flow of the reception off when people are having a good time and conversation to stop and watch me cut a cake.

NO! I told my FH he better not even think about it. It is messy and I don't want to walk around with cake on my face, or ruined makeup.

Absolutely not. I spent good money on my make-up, hair, dress, and his suit- none of that will be ruined for some photo where I'd probably look ridiculous anyway!

I agree! I think it's really rude to smash cake in each other's face, but I think the "boop" of frosting is kind of sweet and playful!

Nay! I think a boop on the nose is cute, but a full face smash....just no for me.
