When is a good time to do cake tasting? My wedding is July 11th, 2020

Whenever you want. There is no reason to wait if you have found bakers you are interested in. You don’t want them to book up on your wedding date (especially if you’re having your cake delivered). We did our tastings (& hired our baker) in April and our wedding in this October.

It never hurts to go ahead and see what flavors are out there! Schedule one whenever works best for you

We did ours in February for a November wedding.
Keep in mind you want to taste before booking a cake and you dont want the baker to be booked up on your wedding date.

We did our tasting in February for our December wedding. We didn't really have much going on at the time, either wedding-related or personally, so we made an appointment.
