Cake!!

Here is mine!

i really wanted a square cake! i don't know why aha other than i liked the look of it cause it felt more modern. the mint ribbon is because our wedding colors were blush pink and mint. hence the pink flowers as well

We tried several and each had a say in the flavor and the design, but were lucky enough to agree off the rip

We're having a Valentine's Day wedding 2021, and while it's an elegant and simple wedding, we're having a theme of Nightmare Before Christmas where the cake and card box are concerned. Our cake is a topsy turvy 3 tier white cake with strawberry filling, with ivory buttercream under fondant. It will look like this (with the one alteration shown below):

This is what we want! It will be a tiramisu because that’s our favorite dessert! Every time we go to dinner we split one piece of tiramisu and we pour a shot of Sambuca on the top. We are going to pour a shot on our piece during the cake cutting too.

Me too I will tell you to take full advantage of cake tastings and choose the flavor before you worry about the rest. You want it to be pretty or match a specific theme, but it's IMPERATIVE that it tastes good

We actually won our cake for our wedding! This will be the top tier, with 3 other tiers with just the semi-naked with gold foil. My fiancé is picky with his cake, so I let him choose the flavors of the bottom 3 tiers (marble with whipped cream and vanilla with whipped cream), but I got to choose the top tier (strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting and raspberry jam).

I fell in love with the naked cakes. The navy/ wine colors match the wedding color theme.
