Hello to everyone! Now, to the subject of the post. I have some vague idea about what to do with my hair for the wedding day, but I would love to see your tested and approved styles. I originally wanted to keep my hair natural & curly, but my hair tends to dry out fast and I don't want it to be a frizz ball. If you have pictures of your style with the natural curls, let's see them! I posted this picture earlier today on another forum about growing out hair. Here's what I'm working with as of now, if I choose to go the straightened route.

Omg!! I'm doing my hair the same way, but I'm natural so IDK if I should just get a frontal closer because I know my real hair will puff up if im too hot.

I have natural 4c hair. I had my bridal trial last saturday. I am getting married in Savannah GA next month and I am wearing a natural updo with pieces added. There are sooo many styles on Pinterest, just type in Natural Hair African American Bride or something similar. I didnt want to chance the humidity and my hair being poofy (4c hair girls will understand lol) so I decided to add some pieces of hair with my hair being braided in the back and loose pieices framing the face in the front but the style still looks like natural hair. I got so many compliments from strangers on how cute my hair was. My hair also has high shrinkage so adding natural hair looking pieces gave me a different look form my everyday norm.

Where are you going to get the natural hair extensions? The only ones I can find are super expensive!

I usually used kinkycurlyyaki.com love their hair i use it for my weaves all the time. Hergivenhair.com is also good I've used their clipins. But if I do an updo I will use fake hair or fakemix hair cause when its an updo u can't really tell.

So 'm getting married in Miss in August.. it will be humid and very hot, even though the ceremony and reception will be indoors, most pictures will be outside. I do my own hair and have been natural since I can remember. I've worn braids but thats it as far as extensions or weave.

I've been growing my hair out since I got engaged, for the length, but I have shrinkage bad, so I've been looking at doing clip ins for length in the back. Strongly considering doing a bird cage instead of the veil. Most of the pictures posted are on my wedding hair board, but I haven't decided yet. But this is my favorite.
