Calling All September 2023 Brides

My date is in October, but I feel this. It seems like all of a sudden the date is coming up. We're currently trying to get out our save the dates and are in the process of making invitations.

This has been me all month. New Years hit me like a truck - it's 2023. I've been oscillating wildly between "I'm good. Everything is fine and moving nicely." and "Oh no! It's so close! I need more progress!" I almost emailed the alterations place yesterday, before realizing that I don't need that appointment until mid-June, and 5 months early might be a bit much. I'm planning to email them in Feb. haha I've booked most of the big things, except transportation and lighting (which I need to do). But there are so many small things! like alterations, trials, jewelry, shoes, shapewear, hair styles... etc etc. I've been struggling with how I want my hair, which affects my jewelry... and shapewear is just a whole other mountain to climb. I'm doing okay. But I feel like the imminent pressure is building. How are you doing? What do you have left?

Yes, it’s so hard not to book things too early haha! I have all the big obvious things out of the way. I also already did my HMU trial because the salon I booked recommended trying to do it with the same weather and humidity conditions since I’ll be outdoors in FL. My venue won’t even start planning the details with me until six months out or less, so I’m kinda just in limbo right now. I am slowly ordering the smaller things like jewelry, shoes, signage, etc every couple weeks so we don’t have to get it all in one large chunk. Deep breaths!

We have most of the major things completed. Theme is determined. Photography is covered. Makeup is covered. Venue location is covered. My dress and bridesmaid dresses are covered. Food is covered. My father is building the alter. My BIL works as a florist so the artificial flower have been bought and he will arrange. My fiance still needs to go tux/suit shopping. We nixed save the dates and went by word of mouth.
We still have little things to purchase (signs, jewelry, more decor). We also have to purchase the rental tent, tables, linens etc. Need to figure out a DJ and my biggest struggle is to find someone who does hair.
