I'm already down 30 pounds. My goal is to lose 120 more pounds in the next 18 months before the wedding. I have been eating a healthy 1500 calories a day and excising 30 minutes, even if just walking.

    Definitely try weightlifting. Start small at 5-10 lbs then work your way up. It's best to exercise then eat because you'll continue burning calories. Make sure you're eating enough protein though. And don't focus too much on the scale. Muscle weighs more and will help give you a toned look, but not look manly. Don't be afraid of building muscle because unless you start taking steroids, you won't look manly. People never believe me when I tell them how much I weigh because I'm thin but have muscle.

    Congrats! It’s hard work, but you can do it! Calorie counting worked wonders for me as well, and my Fitbit app made it so easy to track. Keep it up!
