Can anyone please suggest me a solution?

Hi everyone, I and my fiance have got into a misunderstanding, but my fiance never listens or agrees with me. We really love each other and I want to rectify my situation with my fiance too. I was wondering whether I should consider couple counselling or not? Can anyone share your experience?

You should definitely consider couples counseling (though I have no personal experience with it). If your FS never listens to you or agrees with you, that's a HUGE red flag. Marriage is work, and part of that work is listening to one another and compromising - so if they aren't listening, then you need to talk to someone/get this issue worked through *before* you walk down the aisle - cancelling a wedding is cheaper than a divorce.

I highly suggest couples counseling. We are actually starting in two weeks. With the stress of the military, our recent move to a different state, family drama, and the wedding we've been feeling a little disconnected. I think it gives you a good basis to start a marriage on.

Thank you soo much, I was also worried whether my fiance will agree with this idea. I made her believe counselling can lay the foundation even stronger and as she too has sensed a distance between us, she agreed finally. I don't have any idea or have any prior experience attending counselling. I heard about couples therapy from my colleague. His life turned better after going to the therapist. Therefore I have made my appointment for next week, Hoping it goes out well.
