Can i skip the hair trial before the wedding?

Hi so I’m on the fence about doing the hair trial before the wedding because it’s $125 the day of the wedding here it’s only $100 and I have just already spent so much and my hairstyle isn’t complicated or too crazy so I don’t think I would need one, what’s your opinion on this? I’ve attached to more or less styles I’m considering, just the hair line not so to the side more just off centered something along these lines of styles Can i skip the hair trial before the wedding? 1

Have you done your hair in a similar way before? Sometimes trials are necessary not because you doubt that the stylist can execute the style, but because you want to make sure the style looks good on you.

My hair dresser is doing my hair for my wedding and when I went in for a color, we messed around with my hair (a trial) to see what I liked best. It didn't take long at all. I think a trial is helpful if you aren't sure what you want and to get an idea. But if you know what you want, it's really up to you. Some hair stylists include them in their packages so it all depends.

My friend treated me to a hair and makeup trial.
My hair is shoulder length and super straight and thin. There is not much one can do with it. I already knew I wanted to wear it down and have waves in it.
Well. The trial at a well reviewed beauty bar went terrible. The makeup was hideous. The hair was fine but my desired style wasn’t anything groundbreaking. I thankfully found a great MUA, and skipped the trial due to cost. It worked out perfectly and she did my hair exactly how the other lady did it and what I wanted. I’d consider skipping if you have an easy style and need to keep cost down.

A hair trial is a test run to see if the style you want is feasible on your hair. You can skip it but it's better to get it done for peace of mind.

I wouldn’t skip it unless you were sure that the style you got works well on you. For me I didn’t skip it because I absolutely didn’t know if what I had in mind even looked good

I would never book a HMUA without having a trial done first. You need to not only make sure they are good at their job, but also make sure that the look you are wanting is achievable.

I’d suggest a trial simply because it allows you to play around a little more with what style you like best and what looks best on you and with your hair type. I had originally taken that exact same photo to my trial, along with a few similar ones. While I thought that style would work on my hair, it turns out my hair isn’t thick enough or layered enough for it to turn out like the photo. It was a huge relief finding this out and being able to try out other styles before the wedding day!

I think it really depends on your hair type but it's a way for the stylist to figure out what they are working with. If your hair is easy to curl or if they have to put a lot of work into it to stay. If you think it's simple and your hair holds pretty well, I don't think you need a trial. I plan on having my hair similar to the pictures you posted. I'm actually going to try it on myself to see how I like it first.
