Can keep same rings as engagement

The rings are your gift to each other. The first, a token of the promise to get married to each other.
If you wish to use the same rings when you now get married, take them off before the ceremony, and put them on when they say, with this ring I wed, or that you promise to love and take care of each other. Then you can just have the one set, with the promise of marriage this time. That is perfectly fine.

Rings are symbolic. As such, they have whatever meaning you and your beloved bestow on them. So you are free to keep your engagement ring(s) as your wedding ring(s).

If your concern is having to put a new ring on each other in front of people, such as in the case of physical limitations, consider speaking with your officiant about doing a ring blessing versus an exchange. They could acknowledge the rings that are already on your fingers and say something of how, like your relationship, they transform - first, they were the promise of forever, and now, they are the commitment of forever.

If there is nothing that might make it difficult to remove the rings and put them back on, then certainly as a previous poster said, you can simply take them off and exchange the same rings during the ceremony.
