Can We Edit Vendor Reviews?

I am on the verge of crying with just how awful our videographer was. We paid over $1000 to get a recap, movie, and “raw” video from him and what we got is a nightmare to say the least. I could go on and on but I’m a mess right now. The issue I’m having is that at the wedding we were so happy and he seemed really nice. We left him a glowing review because we were confident in his ability to be really great. Well, after seeing what we were given we do not want anyone to go through what we are. It’s just awful. I want to edit our review but I can’t figure out how and don’t know if it’s even possible. I feel bad for anyone who makes the decision to hire him and I feel even worse knowing that my review might encourage them to do so. At this point, I can confidently say that my husband and I would have been better off buying a camera ourselves and asking an inexperienced friend to record for us. It’s just that bad.

To give you an idea, everyone is orange (even in the “raw” footage that clearly is not actually raw), there is barely any video of my family (the back of my dads head giving his speech), lots of video of one guest who was a promiscuous girlfriend of my husbands cousin and not someone we care about having in our entire wedding video, and video clips are mere seconds long before switching to another clip. That’s just part of what’s bad. The list could go on forever...

    Wow how awful. I don't know about how to edit reviews, but I am sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience with this vendor.

    Thank you! We’re going to make due with what we have and just look forward to our photos, but I just can’t bare to think of someone else making the same mistake because of our glowing review of him.

    Can you add a second review? Maybe titled "update on my original review". I really feel that you need to get this out.

    Of course you are going to have to run the "negative review" gauntlet that WW makes you go through. I would contact customer service on WW first and explain the situation. They will probably ask for concrete proof of the problems. So you will probably have to send them a copy of the video. Good luck.
