Can you please help me find this detachable cap sleeve for my wedding dress..

Trish, on September 29, 2016 at 12:40 PM Posted in Married Life 0 22

So, I wanted to add this pretty cap detachable sleeve with keyhole back to my wedding dress, but it is $520 in the store! I found it on one website Best Bridal Prices and it was $430 there-still too much. This is the style sleeve that matches my dress-Allure bridals. Can anyone with good Google skills please help me find this! I would also be open to anything similar to this as well.

I attached pictures of the front and back of the sleeve, and one pic of me in the dress with this same cap sleeve I tried on in the store. Thanks for your help!

*Allure Bridals: Style: CP10

I also have an Allure dress and my consultant and I added detachable cap sleeves and they were $150 or $250! But the back of it is different....it's just the straps.

    It's 500$ because it's hand beaded.

    It's WORTH close to 500$.

I'd be really surprised if you found something decent for under 250- and it probably looks like trash.

Save your pennies and buy the real thing- I'm betting if you want it that badly- it's worth it.

Or get a less heavily beaded sleeve option.

    beading takes work. Lots.of work.

I hand sew bellydance costumes- an hour of beading often gets me an INCH of trim.

Assume my hip is 38" that's over 400 hours (top and bottom of a belt trimmed)

    at 50$/hour it's hypothetically $20,000 - for trim alone

*just saying to give you some reference*

@JoRocka-oh wow, I had no idea it was so labor intensive. I barely know how to sew a straight line, let alone do all that bead work.

The back of yours has a LOT more beading which is why it is more costly. It is super cute though!
