Can You Recommend Any Good Websites for Gourmet Gift Baskets?

Spunky kraut, on March 19, 2011 at 9:12 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 12

I'd like to get each of my 3 aunts a gourmet food gift basket since they were thoughtful enough to throw a shower for me. I need to steer clear of any alcohol-related baskets as my uncle is an alcoholic. Does anyone know of any good sites I can check out? Would like to stay around $50 for each. TIA

Check with your local grocery stores. Many are able to put together great baskets.

Mrs Fields Cookies does gift baskets, maybe check them out or other chocolate/cookie places?

If you want a healthier one, then I would go with Edible Arrangements, I know people who have gotten those and they're yum.

I use www.winecountrygiftbaskets.com; they have excellent gift baskets, starting under $20.00 and are my favorite gift source. (I believe this is the same site mentioned above , but there's no "and" in the web address).

Overstock and Costco both offer good options for spa-like gift baskets. (I had surgery last year and got LOTS of gift baskets.) Nutty Guys and igourmet are also good places if you wanted to stay food centered.

Edible arrangements are only good if they eat TONS of fruit or are hosting something; the fresh, cut fruit goes bad quickly.

It is the same one.......I didn't look it up before I posted. Oops! So sorry! I agree....they are my favorite gift source as well! And a lot of times certain baskets will have free shipping.

My sister uses La Bella Baskets . They have beautiful reasonable priced gift baskets. I've recently checked them out for a friends baby shower gift and I love their choices. Here's the link:

Cookies by Design is one that I know of. They are quite popular in my circle of friends. Nearly every single one has ordered at least one of their cookie gift baskets. My friend loved their assortment of colorful cookies. They have a great selection for different occasions like birthdays, weddings, mother’s day, etc. It’s fun to select different cookies and personalize the basket.
