My wedding is in August, no plans on postponing at this point. But I do expect that RSVPs will take awhile ( not that they don't anyways) as people wait for things to die down before committing to travel plans. There is also the finical consideration as some of the guests might have missed weeks of work due to shut downs and quarantines and may no longer be able to afford the trip. So it wouldn't surprise me if the guest count is a little smaller than originally anticipated.

In a couple of months things will be different. Assess then and see where you're at. And if you have to postpone, postpone. You're vendors might be able to be flexible on the date, and it'll help keep you from potentially loosing any deposits.

Due to this Coronavirus, we have decided to cancel our wedding on April 4th. Its bittersweet, but we are going to still get married just the 2 of us, and after this passes , I pray it wont be long, we will have a big reception. I'm super sad, but we have to look out for ourselves and everyone who was invited.

Things could always change (esp if people actually follow best practices, but...yeah), but currently in Singapore it is hot/ summer and they are seeing similar "spread".

I heard today in a WHO video that apparently viruses are typically worse in the cold mainly given we huddle indoors together vs spreading out.
I do hope things turn out alright - we just need to wait and see.

I’m not planning on it. My precaution, if needed by then, is to invite less people.

Mine is Sept 25th and we haven’t discussed cancelling. Although all of this has cast such a dark cloud over everything, I’m secretly looking at options for a destination wedding with just my man and me. I feel like it’s all just so stressful right now. Just him and I, along with a nice vacation, sounds like a dream right now. We would only get half of the cost back for the venue, but everything else is refundable at this point. I will probably be back in excited bride mode in a few weeks, so I’m not even discussing this out loud... not gonna lie though, I’m reeeeeeally considering it. I know my fiancé would love it, I just hate to let family and friends down. I really just don’t want to stress over this the next few months if it’s gonna fall through anyways. Atleast with a “weddingmoon” we would have a little more flexibility with the date.

Mine is also August 29th and I’m trying to breathe deeply. We may not get everyone we wanted to come, but I’m hoping this will be over by then. We will reassess in another 6 weeks or so.

Our wedding is mid-July. We are staying positive that things will have resolved within these four months BUT we are contacting vendors and our venue to see what their cancelation / postponing policies in case this becomes a worst-case scenario. If you are at all concerned, I would recommend doing the same. It will give you peace of mind knowing you have a Plan B. Let's all stay healthy and positive everyone! Xox

Mine is in July and we're hanging tight. Don't do anything drastic yet. We're still moving forward and hoping for the best. But if the exponential growth of this virus doesn't reach an inflection point soon-ish, then we will have much bigger issues than wedding cancellations going on...

We’re 10/10/20 and keeping things as is.... even if that means getting married at the JOP and doing a reception with our guests at another time. We chose the date because we loved it and then it grew in meaningful. So maybe the full wedding celebration will still happen that day.... and maybe not. 🤷🏽‍♀️ But either way, that will be our wedding date.

September 17, 2020 bride here! I’m okay, a little nervous but we have a backup plan to just get married at a courthouse on that same date with the closest people. It’s not ideal and we are hoping the situation clears up before then. All we can do is wait and see

My Wedding in 10/12 and I do not plan on cancelling/postponing. I am hoping this will all be over with by the time June rolls around (we have our engagement party in June) But if sadly things have not gotten better by August, then I will start making calls to change dates Smiley sad but I am not panicking just yet, I do feel so bad for all of our Spring Brides who have had to make tough calls.

I am planner and I would highly recommend NOT cancelling - always postponing. You'll lose much more money if you outright cancel but I think it's way too early to cancel September Events. We are still hopeful for our late May and June weddings.

We just postponed our April 18th wedding, this decision was completely devastating. So far only one vendor couldn't switch the date, so now I'm scrambling to find a new photographer by November. Good luck to all the brides, hopefully this nightmare will be over soon.
