Hey yall im here trying to figure out what would be best. Im having 200 or so guests and a big cake. Having the wedding at a country club in Davie and I want it to be spectacular, my planner gave me an option - Whether I should do a candy buffet, dessert buffet, or both with the cake. I would like to know if this is all too much or should I just choose the cake with the candy buffet and forget about the dessert buffet. Please help

I am having a candy buffet with a small cake for my FH and me. I am doing cupcakes for my guests. I am also having a candy buffet. Though neither buffets are really needed. The cake is supposed to be the dessert anyways.

Youre right the cake is supposed to be the dessert. Where are you buying your candy from? I would like to go other places even though this store got it all, you know to compare

Yes, Sugarman Candy is a candy lovers HEAVEN! It is definitely the right place to find everything you need for your buffet. Pace yourself though, all that candy can be overwhelming. Have fun!

We were originally going to do a candy bar in addition to our cake, but decided against it because we realized that it was more about the fact that it looked good. We had to be honest that we don't really like candy. But I think you should go for whatever you want. We ended up going with cake pops and a dessert bar of southern desserts (sweet potato pie, banana pudding, 7up cake, and peach cobbler). They will all be served in small portions.

I would do all three, because IMO you can never have to much sugar. <3

But then, I'm a sugar fiend and if I could get away with it, live on sugar.
