Candy Buffet

I had one at my wedding. there are a lot of like candy calculators and they essentially tell you like half a lb per guest. but i think you can do less haha. i think i did like 5 lbs of each candy and i had 250 guests. a lot of my guests were older folks though that weren't interested

Where did you go for the candy did you have a lot of left overs? how many different type of candy's did you have sorry for the questions

Figure a half cup per guest max and be prepared for leftovers. I’ve been to weddings where the candy couldn’t even be given away at the end of the night (a single vase that was gallon size equivalent of Kisses)

I had a lot of candy left! i mean i didn't really mind because i have a candy jar at work and so i literally saved 5 lbs of it to use for that refill LOL. but i honestly still had a lot left and i know i just ended up leaving it there for the workers to have also. the candy actually barely cost me anything cause i made sure to get them on sale haha. in hindsight i kind of wish i did take all of the leftover candy with me because i could have saved it haha but at the end of the night i was so tired i legit just wanted to leave and i didn't really grab everything i should have.

but anyway i had 5 big bowls. photo of mine for reference. at the end are glow sticks - those got all given away. i'm actually very surprised i had that many leftover because i had all brand name candies too! at the end of the night i remember pretty much 4 of the bowls were still pretty full [one was probably half full]. i remember taking one bowl. and then the other three i just legit left behind.
