Canoe Bar

Mrs. Brendan, on April 12, 2017 at 5:50 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Hi All!! Questions about a canoe bar.... How many drinks did it hold? How much ice did it take to fill/keep things cold? How did you stabilize it (provided you raised it up so guests wouldn't have to bend down)? How many guests did you have and did you feel as though it held enough for your event? At what point in your day-of timeline were the ice and beverages placed in the canoe? I would love to see pics if you have any! I have pinned quite a few for visual inspiration however I am having a challenging time getting solid answers to the above questions. Tips and tricks are much appreciated!! XOXO *below pics are just inspiration pics*

Is this for beer or sodas?

I would not allow guests to self serve themselves alcohol. You need a bartender and they can answer these questions.

Unfortunately they couldn't answer my questions as they have not done such a display before and since it is my canoe I have to tell them what it needs etc., so they can supervise it Smiley smile - bottled sodas and water.

I wanted to do that so bad! We don't have a canoe, though. If you give the measurements to a local ice company, they may be able to figure it out for you.

If this is for sodas and water, are you having an alcohol bar in addition to this?

Can you line the canoe with foam or something to help keep the cold in? Might make the ice last longer.

I kind of love this and wish it would work for my venue. (I have zero advice for you haha.)
