Can't decide between two venues

Lynn, on June 22, 2020 at 1:46 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 19

We will doing a destination wedding next year once all the craziness dies down (I hope). We have narrowed our search for a venue down to two venues. They are both gorgeous, and I like them both equally. FH and I can't decide. They are both barn type venues and both have white walls inside.

One barn has a black exterior and looks more upscale/classy than a traditional barn. The other is a white barn, which is pretty also.

What do you guys think?

The black barn is stunning, but makes me think less Barn and more Southern Church (my first thought quite honestly, was the Billy Graham Museum in NC). The second one is more rustic and feels Country chic. I think it just depends on what vibe you're looking for.

Have you seen them in person? What was the vibe you got when you were in them? First impressions are everything in my opinion. We picked our wedding venue online and we love it, but we didn't "fall in love" with the venue until we saw it in person. It suddenly made all our wedding envisions come to life and know exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it.

We had envisioned a sandy beach wedding, but the resort offers a private dock with awning and it's all lit up. We saw the dock and suddenly sandy beach wedding went to ooh, let's get a little more fancy with shoes and suits (if that makes any sense)

It’s hard to say without seeing the rest of the venue or the grounds but from these pics I say the first one. It’s more unique.

I think if you are going for a more formal and chic wedding then definitely the first. If you are going for a more rustic look then definitely the 2nd. I think it all depends on your theme and aesthetic and then next compare the costs/what's included.

I LOVE the black barn, I think it suits a more modern elegant wedding theme. The white barn is more of a classic barn so maybe kinda rustic themed..?? It all depends on what you feel is right for your day. They’re both beautiful options! Good luck on your venue hunt!

I love the black barn but if you are going for more of a rustic theme I would go with the white barn.

It is a hard choice. You have to go to the places and see which one you gravitate to more. Is your wedding theme more country chic(white) or more country sleek (black)?

I think whichever one you choose your wedding will be beautiful.

I love the look of the black barn! It's so sleek and modern, perfect for industrial decor vibes! 😍

How do they compare in terms of pricing, availability, capacity, and amenities (bathrooms, accessibility, etc)??

Both are beautiful! Just from an aesthetic point, I would go with the black. What are the interiors of each like? Is one better than the other?

The white barn will be more money. Both will accommodate our guest list. Bathrooms are sufficient for both as well. Like I said, we like them both, but it sure helps to get you alls input.

These are both really gorgeous. However, I LOVE the black one! It is unique and super eye catching. So I vote for the black barn.

I love that black barn, I feel it adds a bit more oomph to the pictures. Both are stunning but that black one it made an impression to me and I can imagine being a guest and arriving and just being in awe.
