Cant decide on hair!!?

I love your dress. You want to make sure the back is seen. So maybe a hairstyle like the picture.

I had the same dilemma! what do you usually prefer? for me, i always liked my hair down than up. but there was an option i was mulling over where i have my hair up for the ceremony and then take it down for the reception - how does that sound to you? it also helps to do hair trials so you can actually see different styles

I was set on having my hair half up for my wedding, but after buying my dress with a similar back I decided to wear it up because I didn't want to hide the gorgeous detail. This is similar to what I chose

I did half up half down because I feel prettiest that way and my husband likes that the best. You’re going to have 1,000 pictures of your hair that day so pick a style you really like yourself in, regardless of your dress or other brides’ hairstyles.

The back is to die for!

Its up to you but I would put the hair up, and if you want you can take it down for the reception...that's what I'm doing lol.

Are you having a stylist doing your hair or are you doing it? If you do talk with them and see what they suggest as well.


I went with something I don’t do myself. For prom and other weddings and events I usually do my hair half up. So I went with my hair going up. My hairstylist suggested to me that she could take my hair down for the ceremony. I decided to keep it up because I normally run hot and my hair is extremely thick.
Do something that you are comfortable with? I think the back detailing you would want your hair up a little to not cover it up. A side ponytail or a cute bun. Just play around and find something you like.

You look so pretty in your dress! You are right that back is gorgeous! How do you feel with your hair down versus up versus half up half down?

For myself, I know I was going to be warm even if it is in the fall and I will be dancing and sweating a lot so I wanted my hair up and out of my face. So I went with a low bun type thing.

It depends on your face profile, dress, and your taste. Maybe try to do a similar hair do and take a picture from the side and front.


Looking at some bridal hair transformation on YouTube, the hair looks much shorter once it’s tied half up and curled. So, the hair do could show the back of your dress.

I say updo all the way. I had my long hair half up for my bridals and while it was pretty, I'm so glad I decided to do an updo on my wedding day. I had a low back dress as well, and I worked my butt off getting in shape. So I really wanted my back muscles and back of the dress to show. Your dress is beautiful. Do what makes you feel most comfortable in and what style you like.

Love your dress and you have a great head of gorgeous hair. I usually wear mine down and wavy, but I'm going to do a loose updo low sidebun with waves. If you get an up do professionally done and romantic looking, it goes great with a wedding dress. Just my opinion. Notice most of the red carpet movie stars wear their hair in pretty up do's. Honestly, either way could work. It's something fun and different. Maybe do a trial run - which is less expensive than wedding day - and see how you feel. Great luck!

I always thought I wanted to do half up/ down. But I loved the back of my dress and wanted something different, so I went with a side braid. I loved it!
