Canva Online Save the Dates

We are thinking about sending email or text message save the dates. I want to let out of town people know about the wedding, but I don't want to spend extra money that can be used for other things. Has anyone created an online save the date using Canva? If so, how did it go? Was it easy to send? Did people respond favorably to it? I don't want to look cheap, but I'm paying for college and a wedding. I need to save where I can. Thank you in advance for your help.

I was thinking about doing online save the dates however I would have to get peoples email addresses/numbers and it was more work than asking my aunt or sister for their guest list. Vistaprint has good sales on postcard save the dates. They have 50% off so I got a 100 postcards save the dates for $16.99 (includes tax and shipping)

Ann’s bargain bridal is also a good place to look. This is where I am getting our invitations at

I’m doing save the date postcards through Costco, invites and flowers too. Postcards-cheaper stamps too.

I havent done online send outs but I have used canva. It is super user friendly. I created our welcome sign on it. I also
just created our Christmas cards through there and posted to social media as well. People have compliments on how nice it looked. It’s really easy to send out to people from what I have seen. Much easier on a computer than on the app for future reference. Here’s what I created.
