Cape sleeves and veil—is it too much?

Cape sleeves and veil—is it too much? 1
So I really love this style of cape/sleeve feature on dresses (it’s giving fairy princess and I’m obsessed). But I also really want a veil. Is the combo too much? Will I look like a shapeless dollop of tulle? They’re detachable sleeves so in theory for photos that feature the veil more, I could take them off. (Eventually I will actually try the dress on, but for now I’m just trying to picture it with a veil.)

Gorgeous dress!!! I would say do either the cape or the veil but probably not both. That's just my opinion though. If you haven't already, I'd schedule an appointment to try it on & see how you feel about it. After all, it is the most important dress of your life. The only thing that matters is what YOU think & how YOU feel in it.

Best of luck finding your perfect dress!

Hmmm. I would maybe try a very very simple, shorter veil. I would have to see it to decide. That dress is gorgeous!

Like the PP, you could check into blusher or birdcage veils.

I love it, but I’m doing a cape with my dress so I’m a little biased! 😆 I have an elbow-length veil with pearl edging, which I think helps it stay visually separate from the cape.
