Car themed wedding

I don’t know if you have picked out a venue yet, but my fiancé and I looked at two different venues that have old cars in them! One of them was called the Packard Plant. We do live in the Detroit area so I’m not sure if they’re as common in other states, but you could always try and find something like that if you don’t! You could also rent a super awesome car to drive to and from. You could use keys or cars for placement cars, you could incorporate old license plates somewhere, for table settings or something! Just a few ideas.

We are having a our wedding at a winery style venue, but we are huge car enthusiasts and have a 10+ vehicle collection between the two of us (**** models of various cars). He and his dad rebuilt/restored a 66 as a teenager and hes kept it since then. I think we will use it as our getaway car. We also have started accumulating 1:18 scale models of the cars we do have in colors as close to ours as we can get. We plan to incorporate them into our centerpieces with flowers and such as a personal touch. I've also seen painted hot wheels as placard holders. Lots of possibilities!

So initially I wanted to get these kind of paper centerpieces.

Thank you everyone! I have just made a Pinterest page to help with ideas and thinking of spray painting some model cars rose gold to fit with the colours. Hope I can pull it off 😄
