I'm calling it done. I nearly amputated my thumb in the process tonight and I'm afraid of putting too much stuff on it, so quitting while I'm ahead lol it doesn't look like what I had pictured, but I'm happy with it. 💗 thanks for all the support, everyone! (1st pic to show texture)

Thank you, Melle. I need to do the wrap thing to the ribbon on top to make it a small, thick plume, but its cream colored and my thumb is bleeding, so have to wait.

I think it’s looks amazing, and yeah you don’t want blood on the ribbon. Thanks so much for showing us the whole process from inspiration and through all of your steps.
One thought about the ribbon, have you thought about the ribbon with wire inside? They’re easier to get to stand up and look floofy?
