My reception area will be flipped during the cocktail hour (the cocktail "hour" will only be half an hour and then we will be sending people inside to be seated for dinner). I am going to have drinks and little bites for everyone while this happening but I also wanted some type of entertainment for that time. Would hiring a caricature artist during that time be stupid? My FH thinks it is a waste of money and also thinks that no one will really want to play games if we have a giant Jenga etc.
We do not want the artist to stay for the reception, just because we have a certain family style feel we are going for...
