Hi, I'm a caricaturist in the Metro NY area I thought I could add a little insight to this conversation. It's funny, I did caricatures at a 1st birthday party yesterday and as usual when the kids were done some adults came over one of the first questions asked was if I do adult parties, like weddings? The funny part is last weekend I drew at a wedding and had people ask if I also do kids parties.

Here's a link to my wedding web page, about half way down it addresses some of the questions mentioned on this string (like using them as favors). Look for: "Caricatures at a Wedding?" and right below that the "Some things to consider:" bullets.

I was thinking of having one at my son’s wedding.

It's fun, but the line can get really long and last the entire reception.
