Carnival Cruise questions

We're doing a 7 day Mexican Riveria cruise through Carnival for our honeymoon. Has anyone booked spa packages through them before? Was the cost for a couples treatment for both people? Also, is the alcohol card/sticker worth it? We're gonna do the soda one at least but $100 bucks a day for booze...

I'd love any advice or opinions!

I have booked carnival and we love it . The spa I did (on my birthday) was called cloud 9. Perfect name for it as it was amazing ! Each day in the room they offer specials and we didn't do one but I remember seeing a special for a couples massage. With that being said it was definitely the most expensive massage I have gotten but it was worth it !

We did not do the soda or alacogol package . They offer water coffee tea and lemonade (and ice tea) so we told ourselves we can deal with that (more money for the massage) and we are not huge drinkers so it wasn't worth it we just bought A few drinks. It depends how much you drink ! Our off shore days it would have definitely not been worth it . It does not cover drinks off shore even if it is at a carnival place !

The spa deals are usually on the days you would be out exploring. We filled up the big white listerine bottles of vodka and carefully super glued the top back. Before that we brought a 12 pack of water and the middle ones had vodka. Sorry, no advice on buying liquor!

I've been on two carnival cruises and didn't do the unlimited alcohol pass. We found that we would have had to have an absurd amount of drinks per day to break even. Plus you can bring a bottle of wine per person. Both times I rinsed out a listerine bottle, and filled it with vodka and green and blue food dye. However that was in my broke college days, I highly doubt I would be doing that on my honeymoon lol.
