Carnival Cruise: stupid upgrade calls :(

I can not imagine that you will be denied spa privileges, I would call them and see if something can be worked out, if you are paying $500.00 extra you should be getting more, not less, that is a lot for an upgrade.

You didn't give up your opportunity to visit the spa and enjoy treatments you...that is still at your fingertips!

Put some money aside for the spa treatments and still enjoy the spacious suite...and the amenities that come with the suite...check out any additional perks that come with your suite....I think you might say that this is a....

I loooove cruises! We are going on a Royal Caribbean for our Honeymoon. But I've been on Carnival plenty of times. Your going to love it! Don't get bummed out, there is so much to do! And I agree with Hayley 100%, the food is the best part!

Why not switch it back? I spend so little time in the room on a cruise, the spa would be way more important to me- 500.00 more is not worth it.

Can't go back. but i'm not so depressed as yesterday. but i did add 2 days of spa which is 190 dollars. ugh. i am starting to see the benefits of the suite.

We went on a carnival cruise 2 years ago and if i remember correctly we went on a tour of the spa the first night we got there and they gave us a discount coupon if we made an appointment that night. you may want to look into that. i loved the cruise though! where are you porting out of and what places will you be seeing?

We were just on the Carnival Spirit last month and last year the C. Splendor. A suite will be worth it. The spa is nice but just because you aren't staying in Cloud 9 doesn't mean you can't use the facilities. We each had our nails done one afternoon, I think it was $65. Watch for your daily capers when they give them to you the night before. Cloud 9 always offers a special for that next day. Couples Massages always seem to be on this list. Don't be upset you will have a great time. Make sure you have the Chocolate Melting Cake in the Dining Room. I dream about this cake. LOL

I went on a carnival cruise last year the Destiny i had so much fun! the spa is really nice! if u go while the ship is at a port the spa is much cheaper they offer great discounts. i had a balcony room and that was good enough for me a suite sounds good but you wont spend much time in the room so much to do (or maybe you will lol) have fun make sure to go to the deck parties and do the excursions the memories still make me smile and excited!!
