Cascading vs. Round Bouquet. Why did you pick one or the other?

As I am starting to look at flowers for the big day with my florist, I am trying to decide between a cascading bouquet versus a round bouquet. Why did you chose the one you picked? Pictures appreciated please!!

Cascading bouquets are more expensive than round bouquets. Cascading bouquets require more hidden mechanics, and they need to be very secure.

As far as the issue of a cascading bouquet overshadowing the bride, the same thing can happen with a hand tied, round bouquet. That's why it's important for you to have honest conversations with your florist if you can't meet face to face prior to the wedding. A pro wants their work to accent the bride, not overwhelm her.

Mine will not be full-on cascade, but decently close. I love the rounded look too, I'm just obsessed with this bouquet (my inspiration-also my colors)

I am getting a cascading. I've always loved the look, and I feel it is more romantic than a round bouquet. Also, I'm larger, so I was hoping the bigger the flowers look, the smaller my waist would look.

I absolutely love the look of cascading bouquets. Every time I look at bouquets, I come back to the cascading ones.

I didn't even tall to my florist about cascading or anything. I just told her I wanted something small. I didn't want a bouquet that was too big and she did an amazing job. I LOVED my bouquet!

Both are gorgeous, but it's a mini cascade or nosegay for me because I'm petite.

I think cascading bouquets look so beautiful. No pics, but my florist is going to be putting together a small cascading bouquet with orchids.

Mine was kind of a loose version of round with a decent amount of greenery.

I hate round. I can't explain why, but I hate anything that is too perfect. I'm doing a similar shape to this picture but with burgundy dahlias in place of that white flower in there.

I also would think a professional florist could scale any style of bouquet to suit any size/shape bride. I hadn't thought about my bouquet being right or wrong for my body type. I do tend to prefer ones that cover the hands because I feel like the other way looks like you're carrying around a lollipop on a stick.

I chose a wildflower style one. I think it depends on the wedding style/ambiance etc.

I am not a fan of the cascade. I feel it is too distracting.

I'm going with a slight cascade, simply because I don't like the look of round bouquets. I think they work really well in certain settings, but they just aren't for me.
