1. I would totally need a drink at a sweet 16. I also understand the type of party wasn't the point.

2. You choose how much you spend on your wedding, you don't get to complain to your guests about it, make them pay for it, or short them on their experience.

3. BUDGET FOR A BAR.

If you are trying to say that is a lot of people, my mom had that many women to my shower. At a club. With a full meal. And an open bar. Each person left with a small gift and a large plate of goodies. You know, desserts.

Yep I would never do that to my guests. I did go to a BYOB wedding and it was ridiculous. People got pretty drunk and I was shocked that BYOB was even a thing for weddings

@Shanita ok good. But in all fairness, please serve your guests some cocktails or the like. Trust me, it will make your event all the more memorable and enjoyable. And it won't be because people are puking or fighting from drinking too much..

And @shanita, yeah I agree with kristy. Offer something. I had the same fear because FH's brother and his cousins have gotten piss drunk and acted up at multiple family affairs. But I decided not to let a couple people effect my wedding. FH will handle them if need be.
