Cash fund as part of registry

Happily Married, on April 24, 2021 at 11:18 AM Posted in Planning 1 10
Does anyone know how to link a cash fund to the wedding registry section of a wedding website?

Our website is through the knot and the cash fund is also through the knot. I’ve updated it but when I search it doesn’t show that we have a cash fund - it only shows that we are registered at Macy’s and Target.
Thank you!

You deposit checks in your own bank account. Many guests resent paying to funds which take 5-9% of the total and hold it up a while, for a cach or honeymoon fund. They would rather bride and groom get every penny by cashing or depositing in their own bank.

I’m confused 🤔 lol is this why it asks to link my bank account? Either way - it doesn’t even show up on our website that we have a cash fund. Question is - how do I get it to show up?

Using your own bank instead of a cash fund gets you more money. You would have to close the newly opened cash fund, and simply take your wedding checks and use your bank. They want your account numbers to put money in, and take it out if they feel you have not gone by the rules.

No idea what PP is talking about...the Knot is one of the best websites for cash funds and honeymoon funds because the fee is only 2.5%. It should show up in your Registry tab, as a cash fund under "gift providers." They ask for your bank info because the money gets deposited directly into your bank account. I'd contact the Knot directly if you're having issues with making the cash fund visible on your website.

I had a similar issue with my Belk registry not syncing. I e-mailed The Knot and they had it fixed within one day!

They want your bank account, because otherwise, you will not get your money.

Your best bet is to ask the Knot why it's not showing up. While WW and the Knot are linked, they are still separately run websites.
