Cat/dog

Oh the joy of getting family together for Christmas. It created an interrsting one of surprise. My brother’s GF brought her cat over and let it roam free. I have a puppy almost 6 months old who naturally is always over because he relies on me to go out and we usually spend a good amount of time at my mom’s on Christmas. Anyways, my dog of course chases the cat around and my brother gf keeps making comments about it. I can’t help but sit and wonder why she says those things or gets upset. Her bringing her cat over doesn’t take precedence over my dog being put in a bedroom away from everyone because of this stupid cat. My mom always told us we couldn’t bring our cats because they scratch furniture. But for whatever reason her and the cat take a pedastool over rules in this family…which is getting to me. In all reality my brother needs to tell her GF to stop bringing the cat over. my mom needs to stop bending rules and punishing other people or animals for her own choices.
