Caterer not responding

We booked a caterer- including deposit for our March wedding months ago and they were great at responding quickly and communicating. I emailed them on 12/1 to ask about something and have yet to get a response and then again on 12/23(I didn't expect a quick response to this one but wanted to reach out before I forgot) and no response. I know it's the holidays but I'm getting a bit worried since I emailed them early December and nobody ever got back to me. I want to call them next week since we are running out of time... anyone have any experiences like this? I'm not sure if I should start looking for replacements now or wait.

    Ar this point I would call them, your wedding is a couple months away and the longer you wait the slimmer your options are for a caterer.

    I would call them today, worst case is that you leave a message. Are they a restaurant? Do they post to social media? They haven't said anything about taking a holiday, right?

    They are just a catering company with a kitchen in their building. I checked and their last post was like end of November. Nope not to me, and there's not one of those automatic "out of office" messages coming from their email if they are taking one so I'm super confused because they definitely weren't like this when we originally met and then later booked with them it was a 24 hour wait maximum.

    In that case I would ****% be calling them today. And again after the new year. If no response by mid janurary I'd reach out to other company's. Sorry you're dealing with this.

    I'm sooo very sorry. On the legal side, I hooe you have an actual contract as I trust there will be legal ramifications. If thy don't come through, please post their name so everyone else will know who they are. Again, I'm so very sorry and really hope they will respond with a good explanation.

    Thank you!!! Yes we do have a contract with them and have paid a deposit. If this turns out bad I will certainly let everyone know.

    They haven’t responded in almost a month. That’s terrible service. I would be finding a new caterer that is hopefully reliable at this point.
    I hope you hear back after phone calls. Otherwise, find someone else and try to get your deposit back.
    Go to the bank or call credit card co. and have the charges reversed. Good luck.

    I just wanted to update everyone. I messaged the company on Facebook today and they called me immediately, they sent me a photo showing that they did reply to my email on the 1st but I for some reason didn’t get it and they didn’t receive my email on the 23rd. We aren’t sure what happened there with the emails but all has been squared away and the provided me with a cell to text if I’m ever having an issue being able to contact them for some reason!
