Caterer, reasonably priced - nj

Sue, on June 2, 2020 at 11:47 AM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 2

I am getting married in September in a barn in a park, but am shocked at the cost of catering! If I knew it would be close to $100 per person, I would have considered a hall! I thought the caterer would be half this price! Anyone have a positive experience with a caterer that you can recommend?

Thanks in advance!!

    Hi, and welcome!

One of the reasons we went with an all-inclusive was because of this problem - everything adds up so much!

First, take a look under the "Vendors" tab up above, and cross-reference the caterers you find there on other wedding websites, google, and yelp.

Second, take a look for restaurants in the area. Some may be able to cater for a lower price, but just as good food.

    Good luck!

Hi Sue! Like Rebecca suggested, I'd start by reaching out to local caterers and asking about their pricing and package options!

    Search Local Caterers

And here's an informative look at catering costs you can explore: WeddingWire Catering Cost Guide.
