I am in search of a catering company that can service 30 people. I am hoping to have an even outside in my mother's backyard.

Ask your favorite Mexican/Chinese/etc restaurant for drop off service. Or take a look at caterers on Yelp. Get a tasting before you book them..

If there are local food trucks in your area, many of those tend to offering catering services for smaller crowds. I live in the Boston area and there are several around me that do this.
