I'd look into BBQ, Mexican or Italian food. You can usually get that for $10-$15 a person. I'd also look into restaurant catering rather than traditional catering companies.

If your wedding is more casual you could do BBQ! For more formal Italian would fit nicely!

As everyone else has said BBQ, Mexican are good options. BUT if you look hard enough I'm sure you can find a caterer for 10-20pp. I'm getting two meats, two starches and a vegetable, rolls, drinks for $16 pp. And my food is good!

A lot of food trucks will also do affordable catering, so don't hesitate to reach out to them. We found one that will serve a buffet style taco bar including fruit, veggies, crackers, and dip for a cocktail hour.
