I’d contact them & ask if they can honor the price online. We did this when we booked our venue & the price was $500 cheaper online. Good customer service, they should be able to accommodate some sort of discount or take off what they have online.

With rising costs of groceries and shortages in say even chicken, prices may not match initial quotes on a website. They're caterers in the kitchen, not website designers. However, your caterer should be able to give a decent approximation for catering in June 2023 for buffet or plated per person. Perhaps your contract can specify the percentage costs are allowed to rise due to inflation or even give a price range for foods that are often marked M.P. for market prices like seafood. At this point, I would compare caterers in your budget, but give some room to adjust. Investing in quality F & B is more important than guest transport or invitations where you can scrimp.
