So my venue requires that our caterer have liability insurance coverage which I get is pretty standard but it the contract it also states it must be at a minimum of 1,000,000 dollars. Is this pretty common for most catering companies?

Yes, I found that to be the average for most wedding vendors.

Have worked in the event industry for over 12 years, a million dollar policy is very much the norm from my experience.

    Hi there,

I saw your comment about the liability insurance requirement for your caterer. It’s quite common for venues to require caterers to have liability insurance coverage, with $1,000,000 being a standard minimum.

I’m a UX designer working on a new wedding planning app, and I’d love to get your insights on such challenges. Would you be willing to share your thoughts by completing a short survey? Your input would be incredibly helpful.

Thank you, and I hope everything goes smoothly with your venue and caterer.

    Best
